As a consultant for Commerce Bank (CBSH), I was tasked with helping the Operations Executive Team to develop a business process, technology automation, and a governance structure to intake, prioritize, and approve new project ideas. Once completed, I then trained the operations’ team leads to manage the projects in a way that didn't negatively impact their everyday work. To demonstrate how using an Agile methodology increases project velocity and time to deliver value, I served as a scrum master and led daily standups with the project team members. In just a few short months, the leadership team has reported a reduction in miscommunication by 14% and task delays by 23%.
